Tangled Up in Bob!

Dear friends,

Well it’s that time of year again.  Bob Dylan’s bday is almost upon us (May 24th) and folks are getting all fired up to play/listen to his tunes at their local Bob Dylan tribute show. This is the first time I’ve been invited to play at one of these Bob Dylan tribute events, and in fact, I’ve been invited to play at two! I know this would have made my father proud, as he was a huge Bob Dylan fan. I became a Bob Dylan fan because of him. On the weekends dad used to play Bob Dylan tunes at the kitchen table while my sister and I ate the bacon and eggs Dad whipped up himself. Breakfast was never my favorite meal, but it was certainly more enjoyable when Dad would bust out his Gibson guitar and play Dylan tunes like “Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright” and “Tangled Up In Blue” among many others. Needless to say, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to play at these two Toronto events, especially as preparing these songs for you has helped me remember good times with my father. If you are in Toronto, I hope you’ll come have a listen. Here are the deets as I know them so far. If you need more info, feel free to reach out to me, I’m always happy to hear from you!
